Palamutes - Throughout my time playing the MH titles I've never really cared or given much thought towards my Palicoes, they've always sort of just been there. Whilst I understand some people might find this to be a bit "cheesy", I found that it did nothing but enhance the experience of Monster Hunter for me.
GX WORKS 2 PROGRAMMING GUIDE SERIES
Wirebugs - They took one of the best aspects of the Lost Planet series and IMPROVED upon it, allowing you to use it consecutively and to climb vertically into the air. If you like this review, feel free to check out my personal Steam Curator page by *Clicking Here* for other long-form reviews. Hitboxes for monsters seem to be tightened up for monsters compared to some problems I'd had with some of World's monsters, and there were far less bugs from the beginning launch of the game. Thematically this game appealed more to me as well, as I'm always down for the Japanese aesthetic in games. Mobility mechanics in this game alone pulled me into this game and set it apart in my mind, as whilst I liked the mobility increases of World compared to other titles, this game is *faster* and more nimble. MHRise also features the biggest assortment of monsters that I personally like out of any of the past titles I've played, with Sunbreak bringing even more monsters which I've been a fan of since I originally fought them years ago. I've played MHFU, MH4U, and World at this point aside from this title, and I've gotta say that Rise is the one that's ticked the most boxes for me, both thematically and gameplay wise. as none of them ever really ticked that box for me that drove me to play each title. Play one title, skip the next, play the title after that, skip the next, etc.

Monster Hunter as a franchise has always been a sort of on-and-off affair for me. Whilst this set is great for the start of Monster Hunter Rise, keep in mind that as you progress up through the Village and Gathering Hub quest chains, you’ll discover that your armour becomes less effective and protecting you from damage – so keep a look out for stronger armour sets and pieces that compliment your playstyle by visiting Hamon the Blacksmith regularly!

You can choose to wear the full set or pick out pieces to complement your armour skills from other sets.ĭonning full Guild Cross will impart the following boons:
GX WORKS 2 PROGRAMMING GUIDE UPGRADE
The Guild Cross set is an optional armour set that grants a small boost for the early quests as you build experience, craft and upgrade your first weapons and search out new armour sets to build. Looking for a small boost to help you with early quests as you find your feet as a Hunter? Then you’ll want to go and talk to Senri the Mailman in Kamura Village to claim your free Guild Cross armour set! We see you spreading the goodness like a Hunting Horn main in an Urgent Quest! We’d also like to take a moment to say thanks to those more experienced Hunters who are taking the time to answer questions from new players about weapons, armour skills and all things Monster Hunter on the forums.
